Unchartered Tantalus Estate - Barrel Aged Gin

A limited-edition barrel-aged gin from Waiheke Island, created in collaboration with our neighbours at Tantalus Estate, awarded One Michelin Star.

Unchartered begins with gin distilled by Waiheke Distilling Co. before being carefully rested in a seasoned Tantalus wine barrel. Time in oak transforms the spirit, adding a beautiful golden hue and layers of warmth, texture and complexity while retaining the freshness and botanical character of the original gin.

Expect notes of juniper, citrus and aromatic botanicals, complemented by gentle oak, warming spice and a subtle vinous character from the barrel.

Made in small quantities on Waiheke Island, New Zealand, Unchartered is a meeting of two island producers and their respective crafts — distilling and winemaking — captured in one distinctive bottle.

Enjoy neat or over a large cube of ice, or use it to bring added depth to a Negroni, Old Fashioned-style gin cocktail or Martini.
